Located near Doongalla Forest, this house is designed to capture the amazing views of the surrounding forest and hills. The linear plan allows all rooms to enjoy the views and then open to the big front yard, sloping down to the pond. This concept is most emphasised in the living room, with the raking ceiling connecting the forest and sky to the interior. Passive house principals have been adopted for this house, including the use of quality windows and airtightness to the ensure the large glazed areas enhance liveability.
