OUR WORK

San Remo Hillside House

Design

Overlooking the bay and French island this house is getting designed for a retiring couple, who wish to move here from Melbourne. Capturing the views is important and that’s why living areas are located on the first floor with a large balcony. Implementation of Passive House principals is crucial for our client as they wish to have a low maintenance, healthy and sustainable forever home.

Sunbury Lakeside House

Design & Documentation

At the edge of the wetlands with a lake view this design will be the family home of a retired couple. Style of the house represent our client’s love of the light and relaxed ‘Hamptons style’. The living area on ground floor level opens to a large balcony with the lake views and the fall of the land allows for a lower floor level with entertainment area opening to the back yard. Passive House design is essential to reduce the running costs for our client and create a clean indoor environment.

Doongalla Forest House

Design

Located near Doongalla Forest the house is designed to capture as much of the amazing view of the forest and hills. The linear plan allows all rooms to enjoy the views and open to the big front yard sloping down to the pond. This concept is most emphasised in the living room with the raking ceiling connecting the forest and sky to the interior. Some Passive House principals will be adopted in this house esp. good windows and airtightness to ensure the large area of the glazing perform well.
